What is a POC Trained Professional Organizer?

Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) is the National Association that represents Professional Organizers across the country. POC members are organizing professionals from all sectors of the industry, including residential and office organizers, time management and goal setting professionals, estate organizing experts and much more.

Why should I choose a POC member as my Professional Organizer?

Trust is a key part of the relationship between you and a Professional Organizer.

When you select a Professional Organizer in Canada member, you know that this person has taken important professional development steps to further their career. POC members are committed to professional excellence and adhere to a strict code of ethics.

To become a POC Trained Professional Organizer, there is a comprehensive training program, followed by an exam. Only POC members who go through the training and testing process will receive this designation.

How much will it cost?

Our initial phone consultation is complimentary. During this call, we will discuss your project and arrange for an onsite visit. If necessary, we will break the work into phases to reduce costs and create a plan that will fit into your budget.

If you would like to participate at the planning stage, we will assign tasks or homework throughout the project to help the job progress.

We offer a variety of services designed to suit your needs. The cost of your organizing project is affected by a number of factors, including the type of service you choose, how quickly we are able to work through the process, and if there are any special circumstances.

We are very flexible and will work with you to find an affordable solution. There is no charge for travel time within specific geographic areas.

When should I contact OLA?

Ideally, the sooner the better. Remember, "Procrastination is the thief of time." ~~ Edward Young

Once you’ve decided that you are ready to organize, purge, downsize, transition, sell or move, you have taken the first step towards action.

The earlier the project is arranged, the sooner we can get to work to provide you with our work plan and schedule.

“The secret to getting ahead is getting started.” ~~ Mark Twain

What are your hours of operation?

Although our primary work hours are Monday through Saturday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, we understand that lives are busy and do not always fit into day time hours. Accordingly, we will work with your schedule to find dates and times that best suit your needs.

Will I have to spend a lot of money on organizing products?

No. Organizational products are often not required, and we will work with the storage systems you already own to keep costs low. If you would like additional storage products, we will recommend the best solutions for your space. We will also take care of the shopping and purchase of storage enhancements at the best value possible.

Does this service help our community?
